Let's see...
I talked to Nurse Pam today (and yes, she did make DON! WOO!) about me being tired. Sometimes I come home from work exhausted and it seems like I always need a nap. She said that even being 3 months out from surgery, that's probably the problem. The calories I take in are still going towards healing my back (and the spine especially takes a while) and I'm also using muscles and building them up that I haven't used in a while. That is also probably why my clothes are getting looser but I'm not losing weight! Nurse Pam is better than a doctor sometimes!

Bethany has been changed from her advanced math class (Algebra) to a regular pre-Algebra math class because she was failing the advanced one. Happily, her schedule wasn't changed because both classes were for first period, her BFF Breanna is in the class, and she enjoyed the first day! She still has a cough though, but my cough hung on for several weeks. My niece Katelyn probably has the H1N1 flu but is doing better.

Everyone seems to be panicking about the H1N1 flu but I've read about it and found that it's just a variant of the flu virus, that people die every year from the flu anyway, and that actually more people have died from the "regular" flu than the H1N1 flu this year.

I can't really think of anything else. So far, it's been a somewhat quiet week and let's hope it stays that way!

It's probably much better for Bethany to be in a class where she can have some success, and not be totally turned off of math. That happened to me in HS. They wouldn't let me take an easier class and I nearly flunked geometry.
As soon as I had enough math credits, I quit taking it.
Excellent they let her move into the new class...I know sometimes they force you to stay (as travis said) and that just harms the student in so many ways
Cute piglet
Trav: She's very intelligent and does well in English and other subjects; she just seems to have a hard time getting Algebra!
Bond: Thanks! Hehe!
